The Doctor
Dr. Woodyear graduated from Medical School in 1985 and began his residency in Family Practice in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. One year into his residency, he received his unlimited license to practice medicine and began working part-time in Emergency Rooms in and around the cities and towns where he was training. Upon completion of his third year and following attaining his Board Certification in Family Medicine, he proceeded to work full-time as an ER Doctor where he had the opportunity to perform countless surgical repairs of facial lacerations for victims of trauma and motor vehicle accidents for those who could not be attended by specialists in Plastic Surgery due to inability to access their services because of expense or lack of insurance.
After ten years in ER, he transferred into private practice for the past twenty nine years in Troy, N.C. but, he never lost his interest in cosmetic and reparative medicine. So he pursued additional certification in cosmetic procedures and continued to develop proficiency in the field and is now affiliated with Dory Critchett at Westhetics in Southern Pines, N.C. where he is offering Botox and Dermal Filler injections in addition to Elite Laser skin resurfacing and hair removal and Body Sculpting utilizing the TempSure system.
